This would tie into the larger theme of the Injustice series where the Joker's actions caused the downfall of Earth's greatest hero. With nothing left to do, he learns of the other Injustice Earth and sets his sights on it.īatman and the League try to stop him, but lose badly forcing Batman's hand in letting Superman out and restoring his powers so they can stop the Batman who Laughs. In this world, he kills the Batfamily, kills the Justice League and Superman, takes control of what's left of the Earth, but rather then trying to bring order like Regime Superman did, he uses it as an excuse to kill every human on Earth. The world that we have seen so far in the Injustice games is from the normal Multiverse where things might have gotten bad, but things were not totally destroyed.Īn Injustice version of the Batman who Laughs would come from a version of the Injustice Earth in the Dark Multiverse. In the comics, this Batman comes from a world in the Dark Multiverse where things on those worlds go horribly wrong and are the polar opposite of worlds in the normal multiverse. This is where this can all tie into the Injustice storyline. Superman in this world got it th worst, because the Batman who laughs kidnapped his wife and Son and used Black Kryptonite to drive Superman and his son crazy which caused them to kill Lois before turning on themselves. The transformed Batman who Laughs killed the rest of the Batfamily, then killed the Justice League of his world. Things took a massive turn for the worse5 in this world.

In other words, he was the fusion of Joker's chaotic mind and unpredictability and Bruce Wayne's years of training, planning abilities, and all his other skills he used as Batman. Pushed past his breaking point, he killed the Joker.īut the Joker had the last laugh, as he released a special version of Joker Venom that infected Batman.Īs a result, Bruce became more and more like the Joker, but retained his abilities and training as Batman. This pushed Batman's berserk button and he overpowered the Joker. The Joker killed the rest of Batman's rouges, killed Commissioner Gordon, and then forced Batman to watch as he murdered the parents of a family in an ally and poisioned the children with Joker Venom, making them crazy. In short, the Joker on this world discovered he was and decided to go on one last killing spree.
